Somewhere in the Obama years, I started following Wonkette, the world’s snarkiest mommy blog, full of politics and observation and wit and dark humor and cats and art and resistance and resiliance. Also a fair amount of silliness to keep things in balance.
Wonkette, has in turn, developed quite a community of followers, reaching back far longer than I’ve been visiting there, and chatting at all hours in the comment section under the articles. And THAT, in turn, has spawned various projects by members of the Commentariat.

WonkStack – a work in progress
When Wonkette.com moved to Substack, the devoted folks in their comment sections lost their everloving shit. Well, not all of them, but let’s just say there was An Adjustment Period.
The biggest complaints were the lack of formatting for text, and the inability to embed cat pictures in comments. And what was this “Notes” and “Chats” thing? So some intrepid wonkers put together a webpage/site to help people…
