I’m an artist and office worker by trade, left-leaning politically and socially, and grew up in the Pacific Northwest of the US in the 1960s and 70s. I’ve been a big book-nerd most of my life, but over the last decade or so, find most of my reading life takes place online. If only the backlit display had as delightful a texture as a good page from a novel…

But this particular website provides a way to bring together many different online projects I’ve done over the years. I’m getting old; it just is more convenient to keep things in one spot.
I don’t do much social media other than commenting at Wonkette.com and cruising BlueSky for interesting posts and links. I cross post what little long-form blogging I manage to generate over at Substack. I still use Facebook sporadically, but not like I used to, and cancelled my Twitter account not too long after a certain gazillionaire purchased it in the Fall of 2022. That pushed me over to Mastodon, where I lurk under @SisterArtemis@wonkodon.com and more recently, I’ve been visiting BlueSky quite a bit too, as @sisterartemis.bsky.social.
